Ever wanted the safety of a closed-loop system with cold extraction capabilities and a built-in mechanical centrifuge? The CUP Series Ethanol Extraction system is among the safest and most efficient methods for carrying out botanical biomass extractions in a laboratory setting.

CUP systems make extracting and targeting botanical compounds from biomass easier than ever, thanks to programmable sequences that can be loaded/saved (for specific targeting of molecules) when performing your extractions.

How does ethanol extraction work?


How Does Ethanol Extraction Work?
Simply fill the included mesh filter bag with ground or milled plant material.

Once the bag has been filled, it may be inserted into the system.

The system then spins the material at various speeds while simultaneously injecting alcohol at a metered rate.

These alcohol extractors can be flooded (with bi-directional agitation) for full removal of target compounds and maximum extraction efficiency.

Remove solvents for pure target compounds.

Once the wash is completed, the material will spin dry leaving spent material free of up to 98% of targeted botanical compounds and 97% free of residual solvent.

The ethanol used to extract can then be reused for another two to three runs if desired or it can be sent directly to holding tanks for further processing.

Alcohol extraction – because safety matters.

This is a closed-loop extraction system, which keeps operators safe while using it.

Combine that with cold alcohol extraction – and a mechanical centrifuge – the CUP Series Ethanol Extractors are a safe and efficient way to carry out extraction in a lab.
