This Discharge Pump Kit is designed to be paired with your existing HVE Thin Film Evaporator system.

Perfect for continuous output of the residue and distillate fractions, this kit improves the overall speed of your system. It’s easier than ever to collect fractions – you no longer have to stop the system to swap receiving flasks.

The Discharge Pump Kit (DPK) is designed to be paired with HVE Thin Film Evaporator systems. The DPK upgrades the system for continuous output of the residue and distillate fractions from the evaporator body.

This improves the overall speed of the system and makes it easier to collect fractions, as you do not have to stop the system to swap receiving flasks. Paired with the Feed Pump Kit (FPK), the DPK makes the HVE fully continuous between feed and discharge of materials.

The DPK employs two (2) gear pumps to discharge distillates and residues out of the evaporator body. The gear pumps have heated heads with temperature control to maintain flowability, as well as a motor controller to control the flow rates of each pump.  The kit also includes a mounting kit to attach the pumps to the HVE frame as well as vibration insulation. Also included are all necessary glass & stainless fittings needed to attach the gear pumps to the body of the still. Glass socket adapters serve as sight glasses prior to entry into the gear pumps.

The DPK should be paired with the Feed Pump Kit (FPK) in order to have continuous, regulated input of feed material into the evaporator body.  Pairing the Booster Pump Kit (BPK) with the FPK & DPK together optimizes the throughput and speed of the HVE system. These upgrades allow for continuous feeding and discharge from the HVE system as well as maintaining lower vacuum pressure at a higher CFM during various distillation steps.
