Condensers

A condenser is a useful device when trying to convert a substance from a gas to a liquid via cooling. The heat from the vapor or substance is transferred to the environment surrounding it.

How distillate is made.

When heat transfer occurs, the reduction of the temperature of the substance will result in a condensate being formed. This condensate is normally called a distillate. Condensers are used in chemistry and numerous other processes, such as air conditioning, power plants and more.
