Lab Society has partnered with InCon Process Systems (IPS) to bring the industry the most comprehensive, USA-made Stainless Steel 2-Stage continuous distillation plant on the market.

Designed solely around distilling high boiling point compounds coupled with low boiling point constituents in feed stock, the Cannabeast 1.0 has all the features necessary to streamline and maximize throughput through it’s 0.4 m2 evaporation system.

The Cannabeast reduces the need for multiple passes when material is properly prepared for the system by utilizing two stages of distillation.

Continuously collecting two distillate fractions and one residue fraction. The first stage is run at higher pressure (low to medium vacuum) and lower temperature to gently or aggressively remove low to medium boiling point compounds. The second stage is run at high vacuum and higher temperature to achieve proper separation of compounds.

The system includes a precision flow meter beyond the fully-jacketed feed tank. Feed tank material is precisely fed into the Cannabeast by a VFD- controlled gear pump; allowing for flow rates up to 15-20 liters per hour (LPH). An additional four VFD-controlled gear pumps precisely pump distillate and residue fractions continuously between the two stages.

Power Control Box

Control Box

The Power Control Box contains precision VFD's (variable frequency drives) for complete control over each gear pump. Each VFD has an independent digital interface for process control allowing the user to easily set the desired speed of each gear pump. Also contained within the box is power receptacles for all ancillary equipment. A single, dedicated 200 amp breaker directly wired into the center of the box provides power to the entire system. A digital flow meter, connected near the feed tank, provides accurate process speed information to help dial in the system.
